Generally multimedia are  more interesting, interactive and attractive because multimedia enhance the information by adding interesting sounds, graphics, visuals for better communication and understanding.

Advantages of multimedia

Disadvantages of multimedia

• unskilled people are unable to create or access it
• it is expensive to develop multimedia product
• multimedia computer or expensive computer are required
• Difficult to use in remote areas

Multimedia integrates more media to present information in effective way. The different things or media which make up multimedia is known as elements of multimedia. Different elements of multimedia are text, image, audio, video and animations.
